You really need a double action pump. You can cut the time in half with one.
I use the K-Pump to top off, but with the LVM and the top off it takes 3 minute total.

I had the same idea on the PVC rod holders but went with the glue ons...only cause they look so cool...LOL

Pluse I recommend an air gauge, specially on these V shaped pontoons. Equal air in each side, like car tires.

I timed the dual action against the K-Pump and the time was real close and the kpump is way more comfortable for me to use.

I agree the K-Pump is super easy to use, but, my experience with say Daves double action and the K-Pump...no comparison. Using just the K can be done and that is why we bought one several years ago, plus easy to pack on the boat, but it is a major workout. You only inflated one side on that video.

And for the record, the K-Pump is not PVC...LOL

I don't know which dual action pump you use but I have used two different brands and the K is easier than either of them.

I pumped up the first side just before filming because the whole video wouldn't have fit in youtubes 10 minute time frame if I didn't do the seat and one side first.

Easier, but not faster. K-Pump you just hold up to the valve, but the dual action (the Yellow one NFO sells or the Red One Walmart sells) you need that little rubber hose to put into the valve. That hose can be a bummer when cold[]
The K-Pump 100 is single action, the 40 and 400 are dual action.

Um, when right next to a vehicle, I have a little electric pump that plugs into the cigarette lighter (or "accessory plug as they're called these days). It inflates in a few minutes while I watch, and then I top it off with about 10 strokes from a double-action hand pump. Its the best 30 bucks I ever spent.

I agree. I use the LVM and top it off with 20 pumps on the single action K-Pump. "20" to top it off, can you imagine how many to pump the whole thing?
