Well not much to be said other than within a weeks time it will be empty. They open the gate more while I was there and it was draining fast enough to watch the water level drop. So looks like this is the end of condie for a few years. Went by winder and twin lakes also. Winder is pretty dry not much water. Twin is real low unless you have a small boat good luck launching. Foster is low as well.

I'm afraid that if we dont get some rain and lower temps soon that we will be talking about glendale lemont and the rest of the preston res. soon. lets just pray we get some heavy snow this winter, if not next year is going to be much worse

Yeah a couple of the places I went today were pretty avg for water lvl this time of year. But there private not part of the canal company so they dont see the same water pressure.

How was the fishing?

I only caught one small LMB from condie but i.got there pretty late in the morning when the heat was starting to take off. We came in the back way by the dam and it. Has next to none for structure to fish. There is a concrete retaining wall there that probably is holding some fish but like I said we got there pretty late and didnt fish it to hard.

Is there any way that we can get on fish and game to push them to do a salvage to take the fish from Condie or other reservoirs that are in danger this fall and transplant them elsewhere? Since it sounds like we're getting to that point.

I tried to call Dave at the southeast office on Friday, but they said he was out and urged me to leave a voicemail, which I did. I haven't heard back yet, but hopefully if enough of us call they'll at least try something.
