I have been fishing for bass at a local private lake in Rexburg. The fishing has been pretty good as of late. They are taking most soft plastics in dark green and black.
I made a video of my last trip. You can watch it here:

Let me know what you guys think of the video!
How has the bass fishing been at Ririe?

I think I'm jealous. That's a fun mix of fish, and it looks like a pretty place too.

Looks like Rainbow lake off the highway there in Rexburg. I've wanted to fish that the last couple of years since hearing that it had bass, but alas it's private and when they were letting people in to fish it they were charging WAY too much. Maybe some day I'll get the chance.

Yes, it is Rainbow Lake. It's a really fun place to fish! I've been blessed with the opportunity to do so. Belasko maybe sometime I can take you out there to fish if it's ok with the owner and you have time. I took a bunch of kids out there yesterday and they caught a bunch of largemouth and smallmouth. For yesterday, the biggest largemouth was about 19 inches and 3 pounds and the biggest smallmouth was about 17 inches and 2.5 pounds. It was a great time to see kids ages 5-14 catching a ton of fish and having a blast!

Here is a video I made of a friend of mine that caught a 40+ inch tiger musky out of there. That was his first one, so it was pretty cool. I had one on for 2 seconds on my ultra-light 6 foot rod. He chased my lure at the boat and I did the figure 8 on him and he hit it again, but didn't stay on. That would have been a ride I wouldn't of forgotten!
Well, enjoy the video!
