The last couple of days the numbers have started ticking up a little at Ice Harbor--still nothing to write home about but it's one heck of a lot better than day after day of practically nothing.

"The water temperature of the Columbia River at Bonneville Dam hit 73 degrees on August 18. This is the watery equivalent of a sick canary in a coal mine.
So far this summer, 80 days of water temperatures 70 degrees or above have occurred at the federal dams on the Snake and Columbia Rivers, including 30 straight days at Ice Harbor Dam and 20 straight days at Bonneville Dam."
