Okay, as a bass player in a R&R band for many years, it is time to re-evaluate this word...LOL
Catching them in the past, unexpected, but fun.
This year there has been bunches of them.

Most have been on a floating line. Smaller buggers. Water boatman, Glow Bugs.

All I can say is, right now is bass time.

You're just awesome Miss Joni. Those are great fish and I bet those LMB put quite a bend in a Fly Rod. Good tug therapy for sure[Smile]

And now my dear you can truly call yourself a Bassist! Those buggers can be pretty stubborn. Fun tugs!

I've had one of my best bass years in Utah. One of my first fish on a fly was a Largie - hitting a Wooly Bugger the Gills were digging on.

Ever try a popper with a dropper?
No. Poppers are fun, but not sure with a nymph. The Y connection I use could work. I just like tossing one or the other though. Like Dry Fly action for trout, Poppers have that same effect on me. Love "seeing" the take.
