Anyone know how the water is holding at either of these two?
Anyone fishing for catfish at Alexander the last few nites or has anyone fished at either of these recently? More interested in the water levels but any other reports would be good too.

Thanks Jeremy. We went to Alexander for the day today. We got there near the power plant around 1 and it was to good to be true. No one else was there and it was absolutely stunning out. We unloaded our small watercraft and all our other stuff and set off across the lake to follow the shoreline up. Next thing we knew boats were all over, launching there, tubing and boarding and having a great time. Wind came up and the water became rather exciting for our small vessels. Fishing turned out to be slow but it still was a fun day. Turns out it looked like a big family reunion there, they met at 2, and it seemed every other member over 30 had a big boat.
Up on that end of the lake do you have any tips for getting into the smallmouth or perch?

Yeah that place can be great at times as far as no one around. Bass in there seem to like deeper water around rocky areas ive caught them mostly around the dam. With a few exceptions. And drop shot seem to.be what I do best with. As for perch I have only caught a few during open water on the reservoir its self. And all pretty small. Never really found them during open water but ive never really targeted them so that could be why. But during hard deck there pretty easy to find up close to.the dam usually in about 15/20 feet of water some times shallower . There are some decent size bows in there also. Below the dam on the river you can catch the heck out of perch on just about anything you throw at them ive caught them on a bare red hook. When I say below the dam I mean right below in the calm pools .. Hope that helps.
