Well, it's not like huge or anything but it's so much better that what it's been that it's worth talking about here. The data out of Ice Harbor always lags one full day. So, today on Sept. 6th, the best we can do is for Sept. 5th.
Anyway, I am attaching a clip of the screen shot of the data from Ice Harbor yesterday. FINALLY! The steelhead are starting to swim up and over their first Snake River barrier. Yeah, it's late. Yeah, the numbers are low. But, at least they are heading up the Snake.
Yesterday was the very first day the wild steelhead exceeded their ten year daily avg. this season. Yeah, these numbers are only for one day, I know. But it sure beats the proverbial poke in the eye with the sharp stick.
