Actually decided to run up river in hopes of scoring big, but it just did not happen for me. Pulled up on my first spot of the morning and had probably 9 pounds in 5 min. I thought to myself here we go its on, but it was no where near "on" to say the least. One of those three keepers i caught i hooked deep, and like my luck with dead fish this year she died in 5 min. Tried to keep her alive, but it just was not happening. the dead fish was my biggest fish of the day. had one more fish help me i flipped into a mat and one kills it 3/5 pounder. ended up with 9.95 and docked a pound for a dead fish. had 8.95 good enough for 7th. hope it gets better before saturday CBA. we need those points.

none the less this has been an awesome year for us. God has blessed us, and it is nice having good people on the CFF and CBA trails to enjoy the time with. So i dont hunt so im looking forward to the fall and winter bites.
