Do baby pike have more of a vertical stripe i seen some what i thought were baby yuba pike with the wrong lines on the side the big ones have horizontal lines Tiger muskie have a vertical strip but i dont think they are in yuba whats your take.

Yes they are baby pike. I caught a small pike out of Redmond this spring and I was wondering the same thing.

Turns out that they look more like a tiger musky when they are yound but they are still pike.
Maybe a tiger(or a pike) can change his stripes. LOL
