Well, I got to go-finally. I got down below the dam about 10:30 AM today. They were generating and, as a result, there only a couple of people fishing off the wall at the dam and a couple on the fishing pier. I saw two guys wading out below the RR bridge on the gravel bar and casting for herring or shad, I presume. I did see a lot of blue herons who were catching more that I did. I took a Shimano Bass One outfit and some crankbaits. Big mistake! The current was too swift and carried the CB almost up to the bank in no time. I did lose a white Water Dog in the rocks. Doesn't mean a thing- I never caught anything on it anyway. Tried a spoon and three different cranksbaits. Nothing! Zilch! Nada! I fished for about two hours. I did get some videos on my camera for my grandson- two trains crossing the bridge. He is fascinated by trains. Then the battery went south! But, I'll tell you one thing, from experience. It beats working! emoAngler
