Beautiful cool morning , but the wind came up quick . <br /><br />Didn't stay out long . One of those mornings you should have guessed to just get back in the <br /><br />truck and go home ............... went to launch , rope got hung in tailgate ............... ( solo style remember hehehe )<br /><br />Slipped off back of truck, socks , shoes good and wet emoAngry emoRolleyes . Had to put change in the pay <br /><br />envelope ............ forgot my $ 3 dollars emoToast , figured what the hell , lets go , its got to get better , I'll blow the<br /><br />crap out of the carbs and give the old girl a good long run up the lake and fish the other end for a change , ( this means I'll<br /><br />run 25 mph vs. top speed of 38 mph emoApplause ) so as I come out of kings slough I hit the "main" power switch and <br /><br />think to myself , gas gauge must not be working in the morning chill , right ? emoBadLanguage emoBadLanguage , <br /><br />Then I remembered I was supposed to filler up on the way home last trip because you always forget the next trip emoGoofy . <br /><br />SO , I hung around within 5 mins or so of the ramp , also forgot to charge the troller batteries up too emoAngler , caught 1 <br /><br />spot , maybe 6 inches if you had 2 pairs of vise grips and mr usa to help you pull one end LOL . <br /><br />Besides that ..................... did I mention it was a pretty morning out ?<br /><br />Threw everything in the box again ............. even threw one in the water I thought I'd tied on the end of my stupid line , but yup , <br /><br />ya guessed it , I didn't tie it .................... BUT !!! WIFE's fault !!! she called my cell about the time I was getting READY to tie it up ! yeah , that was it! emoTskTsk <br /><br />I never get tired of trying though , ( fishing as most of us call it , like I tell my little boy , if we caught them every cast , it would be called catching , not fishing ! :bobber3:
