Hey guys and gals!

I am meeting my dad and another brother in Rogerson for a week of fishing and hanging out. My bro is coming from so cal, my dad from Vegas area and me from Ogden area. Salmon Falls Creek is my pappy's ole stompin ground as we lived in Jerome when I popped into this world.

I havent seen many recent reports as I understand for a while the res is covered in some nasty algea. Any one have any news of what's been happening? I have never fished the resevior and would kindly love any info if anyone was willing to divulge any. We are rolling in on the 17th and hangin out for a week before we skidaddle back home.

Much thanks in advance!! Fish ON!!

we were there a few weeks ago and the slim is mainly from grays landing up, but it wasn't really that bad. fishing was a little slow but we still caught fish just quite a wait between them. good luck and have a great time [Smile]

I fished two weeks ago and haven't been back. The slim is not that bad. With the cold nights it may be gone. I have heard that the trout fishing is good with several in the 20 in range. Walleye and bass are quite slow. These reports are from another friend so I think they are good. Anyway you should have fun with the family and fishing is always great.

Thanks!!! Were staying in Rogerson and launching at greys landing....hopefully the walleyes will be biting better in a week. After seeing the sturgeon reports I think I have my Dad talked into spending a day getting skunked chasing one of them bad boys too. It'll just be fun hangin out with pops and big bro.

I am planning on going Sunday. I will give a report when I get back; however, if you see a bass boat out on the water at Greys wave and say hi.

Nice, a fresh report would be great.

We will be targetting trout and walleye for the most part. My Dad and Bro will be up there on Tues the 16th tasked with catching some nice trout to brine and smoke.

Aside from maybe one day looking bad at chasing a possible sturgeon, we should be out every day from the 16th-23rd. They'll be in a smaller aluminium v-hull and I'm draggin up my flatbottom aluminum. So for all you Idahoans don't yell at us guys with Nevada and Utah liscense plates. Im a homegrown tater born in Jerome! Smile

And swing by Rogerson...My dad is notorious for bringing WAAAAAAY too much food!

Fished all day Sunday got several bites but no fish.

Guess I'll have to take fishing 101 again. Not a single fish. Fished for bass, zilch. Fished for Waleye, zilch. No trout, nothing.

Someone must of sprayed the worms with fish repelant. I did get a bite just off Greys, but it was probably a sucker.. Just discusted.

We'll crap. That wasn't the kind of report I was hoping for. My Dad and bro are already on their way up. They may stay in jackpot depending on the wind. I work today and am headed up when I get off work tomorrow morning. I hope to have a better report!

How did your fishing trip go Johnny?

I've never been to Salmon Falls Creek but would like to go give it a shot.

Anyone fish there lately?

2 wks ago I caught a few trout across from grey's landing. been told if you fish the sandy side you might pick up some perch, haven't heard anything on the walleye.
