I have been out fishing the last couple weekends and have been doing decent on the Provo (mainly upper Provo) and middle provo, but i think the fishing should for sure be better than it has been. The only real luck ive had is with streamers and in olive color and to my surprise the nymphs and dries have been dead when usually i do so well on those all year around. I like to fish the Upper Provo, middle Provo, and the Weber mostly and was wondering what is some good colors of streamers for these waters and what type of nymphs should i be chucking? Any advice on fall time flies would be helpful!
Thanks

For the middle I love bwo, pmds, rainbow warriors and starting now glo bugs. Orange is my favorite

Scud/sow bug patterns and egg patterns work well on the Weber now through the winter. I've always done well with olive and yellow streamers on the Weber.

Tyler, where do you fish on the Middle? I am going up there a lot now and maybe we could bump into each other. You can PM me the spot.

Dont forget about the RFP. Random Fly Pattern is the best because its so random no one knows what it is. [laugh][cool][

I have to agree with the "bacon and eggs"...scuds are also $$$. Use to LOVE the winter midge hatch on the middle Provo...size 24 Griffiths Gnat was killer!

Saturday I hit a stellar BWO hatch on the Middle. Duns. Tiny. Size 20 or smaller. Started around noon and lasted almost 2 hours. Awesome.
As far as smaller waters go, I'm still rocking the big ugly caddis. Peacock body with deer hair is my favorite. Here's one from today...
