I just got back from the green river the other day and somehow I got a hole in my waders, so I need to patch them soon. I saw on some old posts about some aqua seal just wondering if that stuff works good or does anyone know of something that might work better, the hole is down by my lower shin and about the size of a small coffe straw. I just hope I dont have to buy new ones because these waders have been great so far and have a lot of life left in them I hope!

No patch kit? If it is a hole, you need some kind of patch even to use Aquaseal. Aquaseal does work however. I seal my seams on my waders after about a year, to keep them dry.

Ill have to check the box, Do you know where they sell it at, is that what you would use?

Absolutely what I use. But put it on very thin. Fish Tech sells it. Walmart even carries Aquaseal. The Kicker is nice to have as well. But I would let it dry overnight either way.

I use an old pair of waders and cut a swatch out of them and smear some aquaseal on the waders then set this patch over that then set something heavy on the patch and voila. The next day no more leak.

BTW make sure you good waders are set on something like wax paper because the aquaseal will bleed through the little hole and you'll glue your waders to whatever you set them on.

That is exactly what I was pointing out when he said "hole". Some kind of material. Even a small patch of nylon then the aquaseal like Troller mentioned.

Do you put it on the patch on the inside or outside, and where do you find it at walmart I looked and couldnt find any, I might just go to sportsmans tomorow though.

For comfort, I would say on the outside, but as Troller said, if you are adding a patch, put some on the patch then stick it on. I would say on the inside for a patch. Don't go overboard as Aquaseal can be stiff when dried.
I saw it in the Camping area at Walmart.

When I patch the wader I put the patch on the inside but when I patch the boot I put the patch on the outside.

I've always bought Aquaseal at Fish Tech. BTW when you go to use it it helps to warm it up. I do that by putting it in a mug of hot water. Room temperature is usually okay but if you store it in a cool garage or car and go to use it it will be like trying to spread my exwifes cookie dough.
