After Spur and Ericm's report from watts bar dam it inspired me and Dad to plan a trip up there and yestarday was the day I woke up with a terrible cold and Dad said that we needed to postpone the trip and I said no way I only have 1 day a week off work and I'm going so after heavily medicating off we went to pick up Bobby when we arrived they only had 1 turbine going Dad threw the net it took 3 throws to get the bait we needed would have only took 2 but the first throw was in a bad spot that I picked out so we went to the old reliable spot that we had been getting bait for years and they were there. emoBig The bite was off compared to what it usaully is up there we caught 30 catfish 2-5 pounds nothing big but good size eaters 5 drum biggest around 10 pounds 8 boat paddle sized white bass and 1 smallie right at 4 pounds that I caught emoBig and 3 skipjack everything was caught on threadfins 2-5 inches c-rigged except the skipjack they were caught on c-rigged bogele flutter spoons (chartruse) The flow increased at a steady pace all day and when we left at 2 it was really rolling emoEek and the bite had died Bobby took 15 of the cats home for dinner and everything else was released I never did think to check the water temp and for anyone wanting to know we didn't see not 1 buzzard! emoThumbsup
