Hi All!
I've been browsing the site over the last few days. Like what I've seen, so I signed up.
I live down the street from Floyd Lamb and have been fishing it for about 12 years now. I've done some fishing on Lake Mead, but not much. Used to live in Kingston, and know that area pretty well. I was actually suprised to see that my search turned up NO hits for that area. Its a really prime brown trout area!
Anyhow, looking forward to being a part of this community!

Welcome aboard! Love the kingston area, have caught quite a few out of groves and the creek. We were just deer hunting a month ago right up the road from there near austin but didnt get a chance to get any fishing in.

Thanks for the welcome!
I'll post pics up as soon as I find them. Well, actually, I know where they are but it'll be awhile! [blush]
For the Kingston area, I actually just skip Groves for the most part. However, one of the best times to fish the lake is when it is mostly frozen over and all the fish congregate on the inlet. The meadow below the dam is nice, but you got to be sneaky! I just stay to the miles and miles of creek, which yeilds mainly brown trout.
There used to be a nice hole in Gilman Springs, but I don't know the current status of it.
Basically anywhere there is a 'crick' theres fish! [fishin]
Was gonna elaborate on fishing with light at mead, but I saw that has been covered pretty well elsewhere on the site!
Going to Floyd tomorrow and/or thursday, I'll probably skip the cat stock and go for bass on mulberry pond. I'll definately post pics if I get anything!
Thanks again guys!
Tom
