Barbel and carp fishing at Orchard lakes, Bashley, Hampshire produces some nice evening sport with the boys. Catching carp off the top with bread and dog biscuits leads nicely onto some barbel fishing using luncheon meat on the deck.

reminds me of a place I fished as a kid on a nice 180* bend in the river.

its a nice little venue - great for teaching kids - guaranteed action and variety with a chance of a biggie or 2.
