So I'm in the market for some new ice fishing gear and I was wondering what are some of the best colors for ice fishing?

IMO, Pearl, Chartreuse, pink and if you talk to TDT, pumpkin pepper.

X2

I tie some ice fishing jigs I that are chartreuse and red with glow in the dark ribbing and flash. It's my go to perch jig (usually fished dead stick). I also like white.

Amen to that! Another good color is Glow Pepper. At times though I do switch to a Orange Glow jig.

I like the 1.5 inch and 2.5 inch skinny jigs.

When using Glow Jigs.....GET A UV LIGHT!

P.S. Tipping the jig with nightcrawler would not hurt!

Go GLOW!

I'd agree with the choices out there so far. White, pink, red, green/chartreuse. I hit Ebay and loaded up on various unpainted jigs - the went for the rainbow. All that glitters is not gold - could be blue or silver too!

Can I recommend Maniac Lures? Check them out - little jig heads, and more- their line of plastics. Gizzy bugs and more.

Also - think Tungsten. Got some that have a jewel set in 'em, and from using the camera - they really do sparkle and attract. See if I can find that pic later.

it depends on what type of fish im fishing for but for all around I would say GLOW white, chart, yellow, pink, orange and sometimes black

I always have a big selection of colors to many to list in my selection of Plastics I make.
