Went today the 1st for a few hours and landed about 8 fish and lost quite a few others. Caught the biggest on a sculpzilla streamer and the rest on BWO dry size 18, sow bugs16, black zebra zebra midge 22, and had qutie a few misses but found some nice new holes that I going back to tuesday around 12 if anyone wants to go up, they are super aggresive up thier right now but the water is a little cold so dress warm. Fished an egg pattern but they never hit it, that was the first time ive ever used one so trying to figure it out but still a great day for me on the lower weeb![

Hope you realize the bigger fish tend to hang out on the opposite side of the river on most of that stretch you show. Fishing where the big fish are hanging out this time of year is a hundred times more important than fly selection. Nymphs of any size and any streamer will do the trick in my experience.

Yes the bigger fish especially the browns are moving upstream and stop in slower water along the way. Spend enough time and you'll see some leave and move further up.
Off subject but I saw in 2013 all cutts in the lower Weber will be catch and release. I don't eat a lot of trout and I'm sure they're fine out of the Weber. But I could never manage to eat a fish from a river with so many cow pastures around it.

Just a little extra fiber...LOL Its those waters with a Mine somewhere up the trails that bothers me. I could never get use to the taste of Mercury...[

I caught two nice cutts and have been seeing more and more lately they all seem to be of good size too, I hope they do so we can get some much bigger ones up thier though, most have been around 15 inches.

There are definitely some cutts in there with an occasional nice size one. But I think big browns outnumber the big cutts 20:1.
