[:/] hello everyone, I am new to this site and fishing and had a question for you. Do you know any areas near west Jordan good for river lure fishing? Any ideas appreciated thank you!
Not really, sometimes you can get into bass/walleye on the Jordan using jigs but for the most part, it's a carp, catfish river, and bait is king.

This time a year, the community ponds fish good for trout using pretty much anything.

The jordan river is a good place for pan fish, bass, and waleye. Caught a bunch of bass and pan fish the other day off homemade spinners.

Other than the Jordan River not too many rivers in WJ but there are a few community ponds near by. Sunset Pond in Draper, Rosecrest Pond in Herriman, I think there another in South Jordan in the District somewhere. Never been there but ive heard good things about the fishing at Willow in Murray
