Lots of good shows and info for and about Vets on TV today. I'm glad to say that vets are treated much better today than they were when I got out of the service in the 70ies. Thanks to all the vets that are serving and have served our great country.

We 'Nam vets are very grateful to finally get a "thanks" after all these years. I can't speak for all of us, but I will never forgive those who spit, peed or threw poop at us when we got off the plane or ship after surviving our term in hell. Or forgive those who refused to stop it from happening.
So to those who are 180° apart from those 70s losers, you are most welcome. It was an honor to serve.

A friend posted on facebook about their child's tears of joy" at a school assembly.
When asked about the subject of the assembly, the child responded "it was about Vegetarians, and people in the Army".
So to all the people in the Armed forces - present, past, future, as well as all the vegetarians out there, thanks for defending our freedoms, and our french fries.
