Fishing Forum

I have been thinking about fishing for stripers in freshwater but I am questioning my experience. I have got lots of fish mainly rainbow trout and a bonito in my profile picture that I caught on a guided trip also I have caught a few bluegill and a small mouth once. This is it so my question is that should I go out and try to catch some striped bass or should I just try to go catch some other bass and crappie.
