Can anyone confirm people were out on the ice Tuesday? I know the conditions are iffy, but I would like some more detailed info if anyone could PM me I would appreciate it.

My friend fished it today. There's about 2.5 inches at goose bay with a lot of water on top. I know he headed to Staley's but haven't heard what the conditions were there. I know they didn't have to drill any holes because none froze over from yesterday to today. They did catch about 40 or so. I'm sure if the weather stays like this its going to be soft and dangerous!!! I Ice fished it on the 12th with 2.5 inches. with good luck. We were the only crazy ones out on the ice. But it was a blast.

I stopped by the State Park around noon and there were three different groups on the ice. There were two people about 25 yards off the ramp, believe it or not, with a 6 wheeled ATV on the ice. I think it might have been one of types that float?? There were three guys fishing off the point and one individual walking out toward the slough, which looked to be open water. I people I spoke with said there was about 4 inches but there was a lot of water on the ice. It rained most of the day up here and the temperature at 6 AM was 36 degrees so no ice was made lately. One person told me there was only about two inches at Staley's. It is now 9:30 PM and the temperature is 34 degrees. Coler weather is forcast for the end of the week. Be careful if you go out.
