i was wondering if anyone would like to get a bft gear and tackle yardsale where it would be a bft function sometime in the first week of december making it a way for others to meet and mabey share some
gear, tackle, stories and maybe get some phone numbers of people that might like to ice fish togather,
i know some might think this listing as a forsale listing but i was hopeing that a bft leader might think this would be a good idea.
what do you all think....

[cool][#0000ff]Great idea. We had one of those for the float tube club and talked about getting one set up for the whole Utah crowd.[/#0000ff]

[#0000ff]If we do one in December it will have to be somewhere inside...or at least protected. You can be in charge of ordering nice weather.[/#0000ff]

What TD said. There are enough Mo's around these parts that I bet we could find a nice gym to do it in, no? I don't have anything to sell, but I'm positive I could waste plenty of frog skins.

Location location location. It's a big state after all.
I'm way up north, but I know some of you are more around Odgen, SLC area. Any middle ground?
We could consider adding a potluck dinner, or a show-n-tell of ice-gear and gizmos? Wouldn't want to over complicate.
maybe a blind taste test - smoked kitty vs smoked carp? [:p] Hey - secrets in the sauce! Got me a Turkey going on tomorrow for a bud. Some folks just don't buy into that whole "smoking cessation" concept!
maybe some unused retail space would work anyone know a property manager or strip mall owner with empty space so we could have an indoor event (tackle sale) maybe help bring people in even if just for a day you never know

+1 on the smoked turkey! That's my main job on thanksgiving. Ever since I smoked the first one we've had thanksgiving at my house.

I think you are on to something! That would be awesome. One mans junk.....

we just need a place to hold it indoors anyone have a place they would like to donate for a saturday bft event maybe do one once every 3 months or so

I have about 1/2 a Cabela's store worth of "another man's treasures." More than a truckload. I could take up a few hundred square feet just myself, easy. Rods, tackle, electronics, boat acc., pontoon, . . .

maybe TD might have an in at the murry eagles for a saturday morning fishing gear sale or has anyone else have a large shop or a work location that might allow a fishing gear sale my gatage has swollen and is about to burst i have lots of stuff to thin out
plus it would be a nice place to meet a few of the people thst have joined since this spring.
any ideas would be great, maybe some folks could do some demos on jig painting you just never know

maybe some of the people setting up the upcoming tournaments could come and do there sing ups there and we might get someone to do mini semiars orn ice safety
just a few more thoughts

[cool][#0000ff]Not MY contact. LeeC set that up for the float tube club...which is now not functional. [/#0000ff]
[#0000ff][/#0000ff]
[#0000ff]Best bet would be a warehouse or something where we could drive up to load and unload. [/#0000ff]
[#0000ff][/#0000ff]
[#0000ff]Sorry. Fresh out of ideas.[/#0000ff]
[#0000ff][/#0000ff]
