Hit the Bear this morning with my dad, Agitator and Mrs Agitator. On the water by just after 0800. Off by 1500 hrs. Landed seven cutts, no Mack's. 2 were around 4 lbs, others were around 2 lbs. two of the seven fish spit out full size Cisco when netted. Beautiful day on the water with my dad and good friends.
Water temps were 48 to 49 deg. Air temp at launch was 25 at the state marina. 44 when we called it a day.

Thanks for the report Mark. Sounds like the Mack spawn is over, were you jigging or trolling? It sure is chilly in the mornings this time of the year.

Trolling. Talked with two guys that jigged and they had picked up a couple. Fish were scattered.

Yea, that was in the North river, Red and Silver. Nice fish, you guys did ok then. Did any of your fish have cisco being spit out?
Nice cutt. looks about like a few of the ones we landed. we for sure caught the Bear on a great day for fishing and a little catching also.

Nice job looks like the tube of death might end up on bear lake for its first time next year maybe pull some big cutties on a fly rod and if I get a mac I will let it drag me around the lake for fun ha ha ha.
What depth were the cutties in lately?

Scattered but mostly hanging on the bottom out in deep water.

Nice J! Did you see anyone going after whities? Should be heating up soon if it hasn't already.
