Put in at the 117 bridge and just before dawn, the shotguns sounded like a marching band's drum section from every direction.<br /> It was a "mail order" morning-beautiful sunrise, flat water and just the right flow.<br /> I fished for crappie all morning and on had a topwater rod ready because I saw several bass chasing bait, but never close enough.<br /> Caught around 30 crappie and kept 14-all in the 11" range it's kinda sorry you can actually keep a 9" fish there (they look like an X-Ray if you hold them up to the light)<br /> Got them in 5 different spots from Twin Lakes up to the 117 bridge, on B Garland Patriots and Blue Ice on 1/16 head.<br /> Also had several 10-12" Spots.<br />All fish were in 2 to 12 ft (yep 2&#39 Just over the grass at a cove by Wansville!
