Decided to get out on and do a little fishing with a buddy a mine who i played soccer with in high school, and that i actually saw at the last RSL game and i hadnt seen him in years. went out to my little pond for some gills, perch, and LMB. Water was extremely cold from the last time i was there and there were skiffs of ice on one side. not expecting much me and my buddy in 2 hours caught 15 gills and he got one LMB that was small. the fishing there was one of the slowest days on the pond for me. with the freezing wind on our hands we decided to head back to the car and warm up and then walk down to the jordan from our car again. I told him to bring his cam cause we always get some big kittys down there even when the water is cold, but not today. started fishing with a plain worm on and i was getting big carp on every cast, some i never saw cause they would hang me up underneath these large boulders. i caught 2 suckers that day one a utah and one that was a little different but im not sure if its a utah or a junie, but it was released with no harm. Also got one decent white bass. fished a little longer with the same results of some good carp tugs. so tried my hand with my fly rod and got a few nymphing.
SO on the way home we stopped by BCC near my house and tossed some spinners and some flies with only a few trout.
All in ALL it was fun to get out and man carp sure are fun.

on it they look so similar, those 2 pics are the same fish we just tried to get a close up on his face so we could tell.[cool]
