<br /> Had my brother mtnfisher up from N GA for some Black Friday fishing. We have fished together for years growing up and I relish the chance to do so as we get older. He might be 16, but he acts like a veteran and stays cool and calm as he meticulously catches fish. Fun to watch him as well as compete against him.<br /> Started out the day at Jack&#39;s Bait shop for some minnows. We had planned to find a ton of crappie under Wolftever Bridge. We were setup with slip floats to various depths, but nothing... Left the bridge after 30 min of drowning minnows and freezing our hands off. Headed then to the dam.<br /> Mtnfisher had never been to the dam, and with 2 and 3 cranked up, he was in for a show watching the water flow. Fishing was slow and I managed only 2 whites, and nobody else was catching anything either. So, we ended the minnow drowning and headed down river a few boat put-ins to below CB Robinson bridge. That is where Mtnfisher started catching just about everything.<br /> Just below the put in is a rock pile that I have been to as my reserve spot for the last few weeks. It holds fish most days, with most on the small side. We caught yellows, a few whites, a couple small LM and SM, and some crappie. Never could bag a big number of anything but we had fun just catching something at that point. The front was moving in and the wind/clouds were ominous, as the pictures show. But man did we have a good time. Photos posted are of some of mtnfisher(Josh) and his catch. All fish were released to live another day. Can&#39;t say the same for the minnows.<br /> Had a great day with my ultimate fishing buddy and brother, Josh, aka mtnfisher. Let&#39;s do it again really soon bud.
