This is a little late, but I got out Friday for a few hours in search of anything that would eat a TN rig or Swimbait.
I started out in the park for about 30 minutes without a bite and quickly moved on. The next stop I found a ton of baitfish, but nothing really chasing them. I moved around a little bit and found some more bait fish this time with a ton of arches under them. After about 5 casts I hooked into a decent striper that fought really hard for a 10lber. I couldn't find the net to scoop it up and while lifting it into the boat the swivel broke on the Trig so no picture of it. emoBang emoBang

That was it for the big stripes as i guess they moved on somewhere else. Finally saw some top water action around 430 but all I could catch were a few white bass despite seeing HUGE stripe swirling right beside where I was casting. Nothing more frustrating than that. emoMad From about 5-6 I absolutely killed the whites. They were schooled up and chasing the shad up into about 7 feet of water and absolutely killing my T rig. Caught around 30 before they completely shut off. emoThumbsup
It was strange that I never caught another big stripe or a single largemouth with all those shad being eaten emoScratch

I did crappie fish for about 20 minutes and caught 4 keepers on a spot I've never fished before. One of the keepers was the skinniest fish ive ever seen to be almost 14 inches long.

Also I think I saw Bassert's wife showing him how to catch about a 15lb stripe emoPoke
