I've been chasing chukars and waiting to go on the hard deck once you've tested that the ice is safe.

Im still here, ive been super busy trying to get enroled into trucking school to get my CDL. And yes ive been fishing up a storm, went today and caught a very beautiful brown, he was only 16" or so but he was very nice looking. Also been fishing a new water way allot that has been producing some 19/20 inch bows and some browns just as big, also I have a question. Today while I was out and about I noticed all the fish I had caught were twisting allot while fighting. I mean alligator death roll type. Any one else have trout do that to.them? It was the browns and the cutthroat that did it the rainbows were just acrobats this time. Speaking of.cutthroat there sure does seem to be a rise in there numbers. Just today I caught 6 of them in an hours time. The biggest one reaching 17" the smallest a mere 7"

Yeah, I was thinking it was pathetic today with no post. Just because I had to work, doesn't mean the rest of you can't fill my fishing needs by posting some photos. I am not a hard water person, so I have been spending my time tying up a ton of flies and just dreaming!

I've been fishing the South Fork a couple times a week...when the wind doesn't blow. I expect good midge action until the temps turn cold permanently....then it will be fly tying for me until Spring.

Jeremy. Good luck with the CDL. I got my CDL about 25 years ago....I wonder now if it was wise....can't seem to find work outside the scope of truck driving...which is plentiful I know, but sheesh! I got sick of it long before I owned my third truck. Now I work construction as a Teamster....vastly more lucrative IMHO...and I get time off duty during the Winter so I can go fishing.

Been to the Big D a few times this last week. Can't beat open water there in December.

It should be better that last Saturday with slush and very windy later in the day. I can't wait.. I think the only time I have fished up there 4 saturdays in a row was when was in college and drove up there from Logan one fall.

Im with everyone else trying to get jigger totters build flys tyed and just finished up my auger mods after reading all of the raves about offset handles lol all in preparation for the trip to Henry the end of this week [fishin]

I'm heading to H first thing in the morning. [] Meeting up with idahopanfish and fearnofish1996 and several others. Can't hardly wait. By tomorrow afternoon I hope to be up to my icehole in fish. [] I love icefishing!
