Got down on the water about 10am. Flow was at 33,000 when I left. Once we were on the water, flow dropped to almost nothing. Water level was pretty low too. Temps were 54 degrees in some places, 56&#43; in others. Winds were calm. We started deep, with jigs, off ledges and managed a few small spots that way. but a very slow bite. Decided to shallow up, and throw to the banks with crank baits. Had a little bit better luck with small spots, but they were all small ones. Got up around some brush and managed to pick a couple of nice crappie off of it. I could not nail down a pattern that worked today. The fish were scattered and not really hitting hard, probably because of the low current. Odd, but we caught no catfish, which I always catch down there. Ended the day at 2:30 with 21 spots, two crappie, and a couple of brave bream that took a crank bait. Wonderful day to be on the water! <br />
