I was sent this e-mail and I am proud to pass it on to you interested people. I was a guest tier a couple of years ago and this is a great club/class.
2013 Great Western Fly Fishers Club
Greetings Club Members,
The fly tying club kick-off meeting is Thursday, Jan 10th @ 7 pm. We are excited for another great year at the club. We will have some great guest fly tiers this year.
Mike and Rick are eager to teach us some more tricks to some flies that they have lined up and maybe a fish tale or two.
The Location (same as last year):
Bountiful Fire Dept
200 S 100 W.
Bountiful, UT
Fees:
$20 – to attend club meetings and Steak BBQ
$40 – fly tying classes,club meetings and Steak BBQ.
Schedule:
I attached it to this email and you can also download it from our website.
Please bring the exact amount on Jan 10th. It will make it easier to get everyone registered if you bring the correct amounts. If you need to write a check, make it out to “Great Western Fly Fishers Club”.
Also, Jan 17th we will have door prizes, if you did not register on the 10th you will not be eligible for the door prizes until you are given your club membership card so make sure you come to the kick-off meeting to get registered.
We are excited to announce that our guest speaker on Jan 17th is Matt Drahos from Western Rivers Fly Shop. He will tie some of his favorite patterns. Be sure not to miss this meeting, it will be epic!
