Got back from Henry's late Sunday night. Fished Wednesday afternoon through Saturday. Sorry for not posting a report, but I've been extremely busy since I got back. To post a report now would seem pretty pointless as all I would be doing is echoing the reports I just got done reading.

I'm glad those of you who posted reports had a good time. I know I did, even though the fishing wasn't very good. That's one thing I love about Henry's. It is different every time I go and that really makes it fun.

I'll try to get my fishing contest entries up in the next day or two. After my Henry's trip I should be at 4 species. All are smaller than I'd like, but it is what it is.

Remember, it's not the number of years in your life that counts, but rather the amount of life in your years.

I look forward to beating you then! [:p]

Actually, it's not looking good for me this year. I was counting on at least 2 fish over 20 inches from Henry's to assist with my score, but alas, the count over 20 was zero.......

I guess I better go get that 25+ Laker.......[shocked]

Ugghhh! I miss read that the first time. I read "hooknhunter, I will be the guy to beat". Seriously, I don't expect to be much competition this year. Too bad you're not in it. There is still plenty of room.

Do you or anybody else know how the road to the State Ramp is? Headed up there Sat with my daughter and two of her cousins. I'll be sure to post a report.

I'm sorry, I don't know anything about that road. All our driving off the highway was on bootjack road. Unless it's been plowed I'd guess it is pretty treacherous.

Yesterday it was doable in a 4 wheel drive. Biggest issue is just makin it over the plowed side of the highway, but I'm sure people have been over it today.

Thanks alot drowning flys... we really enjoy it.

I have kinda lost interest in the ice fishing, although I will still hit a few of my favorites this winter through the ice. The contest is great and it made the winter fly by last year. All I wanna do now is catch big lakers and cutts out of my boat. I think the gorge is my new favorite place, only 3.5hrs and I can be in the water.
