Lake is down to normal low winter pool. Under 677. emoBawl I hate that depth. The grass is almost gone and what is left is getting ate up by the coots. Hard to find a grass bite right now at our end. Yesterday I went out for three hours before the sun set and had two on a swim in some remaining grass and nine on a TN rig. Had a good time on the rig so I went back this morning. I had hoped to get back on the rig bite but I could not get them to even smell it. emoScratch

Today I fished from 8 to 1:30, put nine in the boat with most off a swim and a couple off the shakey. Nothing to report other then I think the big ones have moved out. Looks like I will be heading for deeper water next time. Still it was fun both days and I got to stretch my line. Saw Norris out already hitting the deeper stuff, I figured he was in that tournament so I did not stop. I just waved both times I passed him. Also saw TN Doe who I have not seen in a while so I stopped and talked with her. She was crappie fishing and had caught a few.

C-ya on the water... emoAngler Jmax
