Fished near Staley and did pretty well on white paddle bugs. No monsters and it died about 10.
Stopped at IP dam on the way home and iced a couple of Kokanee. Ice is a skinny 4 inches and the water level is rising. Four inches of snow on top.

Thanks for the report. You're the first one I've heard of fishing the reservoir. I haven't been too successful with the kokes there but enjoy trying. Good to hear the reservoir is refilling.

I have never caught a koke there but want to this year. It is as close as Ririe is for me

My son and I did the same double deed on 12/15. Henry's was pretty good for us this morning, but we headed to IP and got there around noon. I have fished it twice this year and have done surprisingly well for IP, if you know how to fish it you may be in for a surprise. Do not go in front of the head gates right now ice is a a crappy 1.5 inches and luckily I was being cautious staying near shore when I went to check it out, drove my ice axe straight through, ten seconds later I went in, however, again I was cautious and water went just over my boot. My sweetest fish today was a hog of a cutt at IP, yes IP not Henry's. Neared 23'' and was fat, put up about a ten minute fight was quite pumped to ice him.
Best,
