The water is super low and the mild weather has kept them surprisingly active. No monsters, but plenty of little guys to keep me busy. Caught the majority of them on Gulp Minnows and Maniac Cut'r Bugs, but a few on flies. Poppers, white/grey wooly buggers, and crawdad flies. Had a few tiny ones take glo-bugs and hare's ear nymphs. The funny part about all of these fish is that I was there to fish for carp, but ended up slaughtering LMB. Didn't actually hook any of the bugle-mouths.

I also found a group of crappie, and when I say "group" I mean "thousands of them". Looks to be a bumper crop for next year on the J...

Nice job on the LMB and even better work on the crappie! I really do hope to see more of them on the J.

The same thing has been happening to me the past month.

Nice job Dave. That spot is always a good place to stop at for a while if you wanna guarantee yourself some catchin. I did catch one Lm that was probably 15" or so, but most of them have been smaller.

Sweet! Bunches of LMB showing up in December. Crazy!

Nice outing there TBD. Bass are fun to play with, for sure. Nice they were active.

That little one took a big gulp! Greedy little piggies.

And bye the bye, think that counts as a craplet... but always nice to know they are there!
That's cool that you're catching so many bass at Christmas time. That's awesome.
