We are definitely in the winter tarpon groove. Making the rounds of the popular tarpon spots, our evening went like this. Starting at Haulover Inlet, we caught 2 ladyfish and 1 spanish mackerel before the silver king action began. Tonight, like last night, we had a double header on. It took longer this evening, however, the first fish threw the hook on its 3rd jump at boat side. We landed and released the 2nd fish. Moving into the Bay, there weren't as many fish tonight, but they were just as cooperative as last. Were went 3 for 4 before they disappeared. The next Bay spot held no fish. Moving out to Government Cut put us back in the fish. Three drifts, three fish hooked and two landed and released. At both Haulover and Government Cut, I'm drifting live shrimp behind the boat. In the Bay, we are casting a trollrite and shrimp combination. Our fish this evening were in the 20 - 60 pound range and the total for the evening was 6 for 9. Action like this will be very consistent from now through about mid to late June, with the average size of the fish increasing each month. Give me a call, let's book a trip and go catch some Silver Kings.

Captain Dave Kostyo
Knot Nancy Fishing Charters
www.rnfl.com/knotnancy
nkostyo@bellsouth.net
305 620-5896 Charter
305 732-2628 Beeper
