Ksl has announced on their Facebook that on account of the conneticut shooting and the ease of gun access they are "accordingly removing the firearms sections until a resolution can be found" I for one think this is crap... Guns will always be easy to get, if not legally than illegally. If someone want a gun then they will get it. By ksl doing this they are feeding into the media and giving all the shooters exactly what it was they were looking for in the first place... Attention. I'm curious to know everyone's thoughts?

I think it is a dumb idea. Ksl was my number one place to buy and sell guns. I was just on there as a matter of fact looking. Hope they dont do it.

Agreed. It's where I found my pistol that now sits in my nightstand to PROTECT my family. Ironic. Unfortunately they have already taken it down...

It's a shame, i was about to my glock up there. Oh well, there's always "sporting equipment".

KSL is owned by the LDS Church . A 6 year old member of the Church was among those murdered in CT. Services are now being held for her in Ogden.
I'd cut them some slack regardless of whether your'e a member or not. They did release a statement that the suspension was temporary.

http://www.buzzfeed.com/mckaycoppins/mor...-gun-sales[/quote]No need to play the guilt card here, it's just a topic of conversation. I just like all of us am horrified by these shootings. And hope that someday things like this can be a thing if the past.

Not trying to play the guilt card. Just responding to an individuals direct attack on those that made the decision to do what they wanted with their website. " It just goes to show what type of stones those in charge have at KSL. Can you say,,,,BB's ??" Look I'm not even superstitious/religious and find the comments out of line. In Utah where KSL is based if they only had "BB's" as the poster states they surely wouldn't have decided to temporarily suspend sells to the dislike of a mainly extreme pro-gun state. If KSL has based in Massachusetts maybe the comments would just be insensitive and not stupid.

I'm with RiverDog. If it were permanent, then I think it would be lame. To me, it seemed like a decent sign of respect for the tragedy. I felt the same way about Dick's Sporting Goods. I know a lot of people got bent out of shape about Dick's, but their decision to not sell any guns in and around the CT shooting area garnered a lot of respect from me.
