Got out about 9 & headed for the back of a slough to see if I could coax one more to nail a frog. Try as I might, couldn't find one. Lots of bait around the remaining grass, but no bass. Saw a few chase bait & managed a couple of stripe on a spook. Tried a rap over some of the dying grass in 3-6' but nothing there either. Headed toward the mouth & about midway out started seeing some bait balls at about 10-14'. Don't like to, but picked up the dreaded TN rig to throw my shoulder out for a bit. It was the ticket though. Had 3 nail it over the next 45 min., a 5.1, a 4.67 & a 4.26, then they just quit. Finished up catchin a 3# on a windy point on the Red Eye Shad & headed in at 1:00. Beautiful morning!
