So I have been moving all weekend, and had a window of opportunity for about an hour and a half on Sunday. So I took advantage of the opportunity. Got out about 1:15, and started fishing a drop off with bait on the edge. and stuck a 4+ pounder right off the bat with a beulah jig and black speed craw. Continued up the drop with no other takers. I had about 30 minutes left and started to see some birds working. Started up the motor and headed their way. Stopped and started marking bait on both side and down imaging. The bait was in there thick. I knew there were fish pushing that bait up. I grabbed the Tennessee Rig and started chunking. Saw a fish boil on some bait, and threw the rig right were it boiled. Bam!!!!! one nails it. I knew it was a big fish, and saw a head come up thinking to myself this is a big ole largie. Started getting her closer Noticed a long body with stripes down the side, dang a big striper. It was a bitter sweet feeling. Wish it would have been my PB largmouth, but none the less it was fun.
