I fished Salmon Falls Res. the 2nd and the 5th.

The second there was no one else at Norton Bay. Ice was 6 inches. Iced 8 nice fat trout 15 to 19 inches. Sorry, keep forgeting to take pictures. No perch. Whole lake at that point is frozen.

The 5th we iced 5 nice trout with the biggest 19 in. Lot of people and fishing was slow. People every where. Four wheelers driving on the ice and snowmobilers. No one caught many. Will try again next Wed.

Roads are drifted and single lane. I would not attempt without 4 wd.

Heard Greys has 1 ft of Ice but the road in is very drifted.

Thanks for the report. I have never seen a situation where 4wheelers and snowmobiles helped the fishing.[] The noise defineatly has an effect.

I had thought it was Iced over however was waiting for a report. Just wondering if the headwaters are fishable due to water, do you have any news? It seems that the perch might be there if water is available.

Went fishing for a few hours at Grey's Landing today and caught 12 fish most were :average with three being about three lbs each. The road was passable in a 4x4 and the ice 8-12 inches. We were fishing in about 10 ft water using lime green jigs.
