I went today. Pulled up a tiger through the ice. First time for me pulling it up through the ice. Probably caught 80+ perch. Just kept my limit. Not much anything of size, but plenty of numbers.
Fished about 60 yards off shore on south side of cemetery point in about 25' of water.

Nice, how long was the tiger? How was the parking? Any slush?

No slush. Tons of great parking. Around 6" of snow. Tiger was around 32-34". I have a pic of it near the rod I caught it on. Didn't have a measure tape or scale though.

Awesome, sounds like I'll need to make a run up there next week. 6" is a lot less than we got down in the valley. I guess you caught the tiger on an ice fly?

Access was easy, and that's saying something cause I'm fat. I caught the tiger I with the same tackle I was using for the perch. Green ratso with glow head and a perch eye. 6 lbs braided with a 4 lbs mono leader under a kastmaster

Yes I have a pic on my phone. Never posted a pic on here though. Not sure how to do it. If you can pack your gear in your yellow car and not ashamed with everyone poking fun of you, one could drive right up to the parking lot.

Do you happen to know what the fee is to park there? I'd like to hit it the next couple days.

I went out Saturday as well. The weather was actually really nice. We fished the north side of cemetetary and managed quite a few perch and crappie. I don't think there are any fees in the winter. We didn't have to pay anything.

This is a little late but I went out late Sat afternoon just as the sun was going down but would have preferred getting out sooner. Anyway took the wheeler out from port ramp and fished off Browning pt. The temp dropped so fast we put all the kids in the tent with heater and toughed out the cold for a couple hrs and iced a few crappie. Port Ramp has lots of snow so a 4 wheel drive is recommended but the 4 wheeler handled the snow no problem even with the slush pockets out on the ice.
