Who else on here takes and records detailed notes of every where they fish? What kinds of things do you make notations of? Do you draw a map of area? Do you mark what spiecies you are catching? Do you mark different seasons and the fishing conditions during that season?

I've been keeping a fishing jounal for about 10 years not. There is a lot of info that I have kept over the years, including moon phase, bermetic pressure and minor and major luner phase and even air and water temps. After a lot of different note taking, about all I keep now is, body of water I'm fishing, the date and time I'm fishing, location on body of water, depth of water, if ice fishing. Number and size of fish caught. What lure or bait I'm using. There is an App for all of this, if your into that stuff but I just use a small notebook. Hope trhat helps.

I just downloaded "Fish Logger" for android. It is ran off of your GPS on phone. Save to memory card and has teathering to put on computer. It marks on Google maps/earth your location and includes current weather of all kinds, you enter what used and take a picture and it logs fish caught. It saves all the info and where you are and caught the fish and will take you right back with lat lon directions. Looks pretty interesting, have not tried it out yet. There is allot to figure out more then what I said im sure..
