My friend's Mr. Heater and mine keep shutting off after running for like 30 minutes. Once the heater shuts off, the pilot either won't reignite or stay lit long enough to light the burner. We've never had this problem until this ice season. Any suggestions? Btw, it seems to work fine at home.

I'm having problems with mine. It's about 3 years old and I've used it a total of 8 times during ice season. My problem the pilot lights but the burner will not.It is still in the box and looks brand new yet won't work.... Guess I best call customer service might be the ticket..

I found that the trick with mine is to hold the heater button for 30 seconds (per the instructions) and to release it SLOWLY to get the burner to ignite. The slow release has been the ticket for me.

Mine too. Had mine for several years and always worked flawlessly but this year I cant keep it lit. Runs for 15 minutes or so and then shuts off. It will start right back up run 10 to 15 minutes and out it goes again. Very frustrating.

Mine does the same. Any wind whatsoever it will shut it down. This year is unseasonably cold I think that has somethign to do with it. I leave min off for about 5 minutes and then start it up again.
