We fished Millsite on 1/19. The ice was 12”+, solid and people were drive ATVs on the ice. The bite has sporadic hot moments where all poles will hook up. Depending on the time of day the bite could be quiet or hot. Green Ratso’s tiped with meal worms caught the most fish. Cheese was also producing some fish. I spoke to others who also reported doing quite well with the same setup. We did note one 2 ft hole near the launch ramp that was open water and the surface bubbling up from below.

Thx. My wife and I kept a few of the bigger ones for dinner. We put quite a few back down the hole. We were maybe 15' deep.
Thank you for the report! Looks like just a thin crust of snow of top? It's hard to tell from the pic, but how big are those fish?

Alright I was hoping to hear about Millsite. The scenery is something I just have to see sometime. What was the average size of the fish being caught?

The ice was half glass with patches of thin snow. We fished on the snow patch just to keep from falling on our backsides. Here is the fish with something for reference. The 20 oz bottle is about 9". We kept 2 of the smaller ones from another hole earlier to make sure we had dinner. Then the fishing picked up and we wished we could turn them back.

Nice, thanks. I (we) love Millsite and if I can get down there, I might.

We have no inversion here if that is a reason to go!
Yeah, nice. I'm just kind of sick already (thanks, inversion), so we may not get out.
