Congrats on the big perch and taking 1st again. Several of us are planning on attending the tourney in Feb. up there. Neither of us have ever been there before so we are looking forward to fishing a new area. Plan on hitting C.J. for a couple days this coming weekend, I use to live in Grandview and fished the lake alot in those days, but it usually never froze hard enough to safely ice fish it. I will have a BFT sticker on my black Jet sled and flying a Team Iceshanty flag on the sled as well. [fishin]

Nice perch. We were up there but we were going for trout we caught 5 fish all day sat one 17" trout one 14" trout a couple of small perch and a 20.5inch rainbow that came out to 2.75 big enough for 3rd in the trout just out of pay out but we did get a ton of free jigs spoons $20 bar tab and 3 free large pizzas all in all it was fun but condtions saturday sucked to say the least there was 2" to 4" inchs of water on top of the ice and we were soaked by the time we got back to the cabin went back out today and got nothing tried are holes form saturday and drilled close to 75 more today and we didn't catch any thing so we went to the bar to catch a buzz [sly] the ice was way better today and i learned that 10" power augers kick butt it was a great weekend alot of fun and i want to go back this next weekend bad

Great job again Matt. Man was it slushy and rainy. Tough day for us. I had a tout on and lost it and my friend caught a 3" perch. Even so it was a great weekend and derby, it was nice meeting a couple more guys on the forums. We have a great group here.

[right]yeah i would like to meet you guys we were fishing crownpoint and behind the island at sugarloof most of the day my group got kinda crazy that day they had a bottle of jager and a bottle of wiskey down before noon so maybe next time will be a better time for you to meet us had to take one of the guys back to the cabin because he kept falling down on the ice and he started shakeing and got really cold got kinda scary for a while but he was ok after he sobered up a bit[crazy]
