i have never fished it but my friends have. if it were me i would make sure i had a good array of smaller rubber legs and beadhead nymphs to fish under a thingamabobber.

Never fished this time of year either but I would guess anything upstream of Ketchum more than a 2-3 miles you will want snow shoes or xc skis. There should be some access downstream from there that isn't as difficult.
