Going to head to the Flaming Gorge for the first time this weekend. I live down south and have fished ALL lakes in my area. But have been wanting to make it to that area since I was 10 years old. After reading a post here I thought about hitting Red Fleet on the way up. Has any one fished Red fleet this hard deck season and has anyone herd of safe ice on the utah side of FG? Any recent info would be a great help. PM is fine to avoid the DINKS! Looking forward to knocking some species off the bucket list and get some great gopro hard deck footage! Here is a video I did last spring for all you guys missing OPEN water! Thanx for the help

Haven't been up to the Gorge yet. Red Fleet is good for rainbows in the 12-18" range.

Cool hooked Im glad you liked the video. If you get a gopro keep in mind you will have to have a good CPU to edit the footage. Some editing programs can b difficult to use on a pc if your like me and are more of a fisherman then a computer guy. I use a mac and use iMovie to edit its really easy that way. Good luck
