The Sulphur Creek Derby held on Feb. 2nd went great with awesome weather and everyone I talked to catching plenty of fish. The fishing derby winners for this year are as follows:

1st place with a 23 1/4" fish was Landon Kunzler and won $810
2nd place with a 21" fish was Zach Angelos and won $540
3rd place with a 16" fish was Isayah Saavedra and won $270

Thank you to everyone that came out for this year's derby, we hope you had a great time and we definitely look forward to seeing you again next year. This year we had 108 participants in the derby. Good luck with the rest of the ice fishing season[cool]

also thank you perchski we had a great time caught a lot of fish but couldn't stretch one to 16 a very well run derby and friendly looking forward to it next year

Sounds like you had a good turnout for your event, sorry I couldn't make it but the large perch in Idaho were calling my name, so I ended up headed for Mt. Home Thurs. afternoon for a couple days fishing them before the warm temps won't allow ice fishing on the big pond. [fishin]

Any good bass or walleye at the tournament this year?

I didn't hear of any bass but there was some walley caught, I know of at least a couple but they weren't very big.
