Hit my first ever burbot bash last weekend and I think I'm hooked for life. Didn't win any money but it was definitely a fun learning experience. Our team ended up with around 60 or so fish which wasn't bad considering the slow bite in our area. Longest we caught "by me of course" was 31 and skinny, the biggest around 30 and I'd guess 6 lbs. I ended up landing about 10 crawdads in the process too. Despite breaking my auger the first day as well as my lounge chair and leaving my fish finder monitor on the kitchen table, I had a blast. Beautiful scenery, long nights fishing and cooking off of my little buddy heater, I say sign me up for another. [inline burbot.jpg][inline "burbot 2.jpg"] [inline firehole.jpg]
